Overview

Triplano is a trip planning app. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Data We Collect

Account data: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID email and name (if you choose to share it). We store this to identify your account.

Trip data: Trips, stops, packing lists, and documents you create are stored in our cloud database (InstantDB) when using cloud mode. In offline mode, all data stays on your device.

Location: If you grant permission, we access your device location to display it on the map. We do not track or store your location on our servers.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide the Triplano service: syncing trips across your devices, enabling trip sharing with others, and displaying maps. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Sharing

When you share a trip via a link, the trip title, dates, stop count, and selected sections become accessible to anyone with the link. You can revoke share links at any time.

Data Storage

Cloud data is stored on InstantDB servers. Offline data is stored locally on your device using secure storage. We do not have access to offline data.

Your Choices

You can use Triplano entirely offline without creating an account. You can delete your account and all associated data by signing out and requesting deletion. You can revoke shared links at any time.
